“I have been training with Sarah for a year now and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am doing things I never thought possible. One of the most valuable aspects of my training has been working through injury and learning how to rehab while still making exponential fitness gains. Before training with Sarah, I would often push through pain or give up due to injury. Working with Sarah, I haven’t had to sacrifice my fitness because as soon as something comes up, she adjusts the program to adapt to what MY body needs. Sarah’s knowledge and experience is just what I needed. I turned 50 this year, I’ve got two shoulder surgeries under my belt, multiple stress fractures, and I’m three years out from a breast cancer diagnosis that required chemo and a double mastectomy with multiple reconstructions. I can honestly say I’ve never felt stronger and more physically and emotionally capable than I do now, and I credit Sarah with so much of my success. Plus we have tons of fun together!”

“When Sarah and I met, I had personal goals of just wanting to lose weight. I never thought about the other goals I would grow to have after meeting and working with Sarah. From day one, Sarah took all of my fears, concerns, and goals seriously. Sarah never once doubted me, even when I would doubt myself. When we started training together, I did not know a single thing about strength training and how it could benefit me. Now, almost training together for a year, I have fallen in love with strength training and going to the gym on my own. I have learned that the best part about training is that there is no end goal! We are always training to become a better version of ourselves, which I have learned from Sarah. She has shown me that even she still have personal goals she wants to work towards, and it is so inspiring. I have found something that I can work on, just for me because of Sarah. Sarah also will always go out of her way for anyone, not just her clients. There is not a week that goes by where Sarah isn’t checking in on me, sending me extra workouts or just simply calling to say hi. One of the best parts about Sarah is that she is KIND. She is always looking to help others in any way she can inside and outside of the gym. Sarah helped me find a love, not only for working out but a greater love for myself. Sarah has become more than just my personal trainer but one of my very good friends. I am so thankful that she came into my life!”

“When I first approached Sarah about training, she asked me about my goals and never insisted what I needed to work on or what would ‘best’ for me. One of the things that impresses me the most is her ability to still coach me and hold me accountable while I’m at college. Sarah has helped me reach goals that I did not even know I had and even unknowingly helped me with mental struggles…I got to a point with my body dysmorphia that I did not want to go to the gym because I was “ashamed” or felt like my body couldn’t perform the same way it used to. Sarah’s encouraging words and ability to come up with workouts that excited me helped me to fall back in love with fitness. For that, I will forever be grateful. Sarah has been through this process herself, so she understands the frustration and never downplays those feelings, but rather knows exactly what to say to push you to keep working hard. Sarah-isms, such as “If it were easy, everyone would do it,” and “We don’t say can’t”, ring in my head during tough workouts and always help me push myself further.”
